He is the founder of the ISO 9001:2015 compliant consulting engineering firm L & A Energy Consulting Ltd., which has worked with clients such as Suncor Energy, Stantec Consulting, Teshmont Engineering, BluEarth Renewables and UPC Renewables.

Lindsay's core strengths lie in meticulous attention to detail with project management, project execution and his ability to build a team of industry leaders with proven track records. He successfully leads and manages several teams on numerous projects throughout the globe.

He is an avid reader and runner. In his downtime he enjoys skiing, snowboarding, surfing and getting lost in new cultures.

Samer Kamal, a Palestinian-Canadian environmental entrepreneur, has been pioneering sustainable ventures for over 20 years.

He founded Bee’ah, the Middle East’s largest recycling company, and expanded it from 3 to 2,000 employees, managing over $1.2 billion in assets. He’s established the first private wastewater recycling facility in Dubai and a food-grade PET recycling company. Currently, he’s focusing on the circular economy through Minus Global and Nadeera.

A recognized sustainability leader, he holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and advises various investment groups and start-ups.

Dr. Moghadam has over 25 years as an executive, within the energy sector globally. He has been a key member of teams that have successfully executed business developmet, operations, and strategy on renewable energy, oil & gas, commodities, and technology projects throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

He previously served as COO and board member of Amira Int’l and ICCOEC, and is a current board member of various companies in the energy sector. His strengths as a leading strategic business development executive have created business opportunties and partnerships with numerous institutions, which include Petamina, Gunvor, BNP Paribas, Credit Suiss, AIG, Macquarie, Marsh, GE, Siemens, Technip, Odebrecht, and more.

Dr. Moghadam holds a B.S. with honors from James Madison University and an M.S. from the University of Virginia, a D.B.A. from Georgia State University.

He currently sits on the Advisory Board for the McIntire School at the University of Virginia and ShareACause non-profit. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, sports, and is a major foodie.

Mr. Le Rougetel is a Senior Project Management Leader with an MBA from London Business School and a PMP certification. He is a strategic thinker, with a successful track record of leading complex infrastructure projects, with single projects exceeding $13b in value.

He has international professional experience in 13 countries and fluency in English, French, German and Spanish, along with being functional in Italian and Dutch with a basic grasp of Arabic.

He is an avid traveler, having visited 68 countries, including traveling overland from Morocco to Zimbabwe.

Jonathan Rubin is a strategist and consultant. Before joining Infinitum, he lived and worked in Freetown, Sierra Leone, advising NGOs and investors.

Prior to working internationally, Mr. Rubin worked at Malk Partners on ESG and Impact due diligence, advising on private equity mergers and acquisitions transactions. His freelance clients have included investors, non-profits, political organizations, and a range of public and private institutions. This includes successfully securing more than $1.5 million in grant funding for non-profits and small businesses.

He has a BA from Lawrence University, and is currently an MASc candidate at University College London, where he is studying Global Urbanism in The Bartlett School of the Built Environment. He loves exploring warm places, greeting every dog he sees, and talking to strangers.

Isabelle Freidheim is an entrepreneur and investor with more than 15 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, SPACs and IPOs.

She is the co-founder and was CEO of AI company Magnifi (acquired by Tifin in 2020).

Ms. Freidheim founded Athena in 2020. Athena Capital is an investment fund focusing on the intersection of private companies preparing to go public or considering exits through mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Athena’s team members include board members of Fortune 100 companies and CEOs, Fortune 500 companies, company founders and investors. Under Freidheim’s leadership, Athena has raised more than $1.2 billion.

Mr. Adesina has over 35 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors globally. He is currently the Managing Director of Sahara Group, operating in over 40 countries. With almost 2GW of installed capacity, Sahara Group is largest private distribution company in Sub-Saharan Africa.

He sits on the Board of Sahara Group Ltd, Ikeja Electric, Egbin Power Plc, First Independent Power Ltd, Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, AXA Mansard Insurance Plc., and served as a member of the Presidential Committee of Nigeria.

He holds degrees from University of Lagos, Harvard Business School, and the Warton School of Business.

Mr. Gikunda has been in the private equity sector for more than 22 years, joining Actis in 2007. Initially based in London before moving to Johannesburg and then to Nairobi, where he originated and managed Actis’ East African real estate investments. Prior to joining Actis, Mr. Gikunda was an investment banker with JP Morgan in New York.

He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Management Science and Engineering where he was a Ford Foundation Scholar. He has an MBA with Distinction from Oxford University where he was awarded the Wafic Said Scholarship.

He also sits on the Board of the East Africa Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (“EAVCA”) and Aiglon College.
